Mrs. Anderson was born and raised in Brooklyn, by immigrants from the Dutch West Indies. She has served the learning communities of District 13 since 1998. She is a Special Educator, having worked as a Middle School Teacher, Instructional Specialist, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Supervisor of Adult Education. A lifelong learner and teacher, Mrs. Anderson often refers to herself as "The teacher of teachers." Her best accomplishments are her 2 children.
