Sara Shin is excited about joining District 13 in the role of Academic Intervention Services Coordinator. She joined the New York City Department of Education in 2006 as a Teaching Fellow after a career in publishing. During her tenure with the Department of Education she has taught Spanish and English Language Arts and worked as an Assistant Principal and Literacy Coach. When she is not engrossed in a book, she and her husband enjoy sailing from Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn.
