Meghan Dunn

Meghan Dunn began her career in education as a first grade teacher in District 16 in Bedford-Stuyvesant. She had the immense honor of looping with her students, and teaching the same group of students from 1st grade until 5th grade. She was the founding principal of the Riverdale Avenue Community School, and 3K - 5th Grade school located in Brownsville, Brooklyn, and home to three time national champions - the RACSteppers! She joined District 13 as the Deputy Superintendent in March 2020. Meghan holds a B.A. in History and Art History from The George Washington University and a Masters degree in Education from The Bank Street College of Education. Meghan is a 2016 Cahn Fellow for Distinguished Principals and a recipient of the Bank Street College Alumni Award - Graduate of Distinction.
